Terms of Use

By using the Meritshot platform, you agree to the following terms and conditions.

About These Terms

These Terms of Use form a binding agreement between Meritshot (the “Company”) and you (the “User”). They govern your use of www.meritshot.com, our mobile applications, related digital platforms, and your participation in our online programmes.

By accessing the Platform, creating an account, or enrolling in any programme, you consent to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the services.

The legal entity behind the Platform is Meritshot Zetta Edutech Private Limited, with its registered office in Noida, Uttar Pradesh, India. Our GSTIN/CIN is 09AAQCM8258B1Z2, and our official support contact is support@meritshot.com.

Throughout these Terms, “Platform” refers to our websites, apps, dashboards, learning portals, official social channels, and email/SMS/WhatsApp communications. “Programmes” refers to our education offerings — including courses, live sessions, recordings, assignments, projects, and career assistance. “Meritshot Content” means all materials we or our licensors provide, and “User Content” means anything you upload or submit while using the Platform.

Eligibility & Accounts

  • Users must be 18 years or older to use the platform on their own. Users under 18 may use the Platform only under parental or guardian supervision; Meritshot does not contract directly with minors.
  • You may create only one account, and you are responsible for maintaining secure login credentials. Sharing your account, credentials, or programme access with anyone else is not permitted.
  • Account information must be accurate, current, and complete, and you must update any changes promptly so that we can keep your records and certifications correct.
  • Meritshot may suspend or terminate access if information is found to be inaccurate, or if any form of misuse is detected on the account.

Program Delivery

Programme access typically begins after payment is complete, and onboarding details are sent to your registered email and phone number. So that we can keep improving the learning experience, Meritshot reserves the right to reschedule, modify, or update any of the following at its discretion:

  • Programme modules and curriculum content.
  • Live session schedules.
  • Assessment formats and timelines.
  • Trainers and mentors.
  • Delivery methods (online, hybrid, or any other supported format).

Meritshot may also limit, suspend, or discontinue specific Programme features — including support services — for maintenance, legal or compliance reasons, or where misuse is detected, while striving to minimise disruption for genuine learners.

Career & Placement Assistance (No Job Guarantee)

Meritshot provides career support and 100% placement assistance — including profile reviews, resume and LinkedIn optimisation, interview preparation, mock interviews, referrals to hiring partners, and job-opening alerts. The exact scope of assistance varies from one programme to another and is described on the relevant programme page.

However, Meritshot explicitly does not guarantee any of the following outcomes:

  • Employment or a specific job role.
  • A particular salary or compensation package.
  • A specific job location or city.
  • A guaranteed time-to-hire.

Hiring decisions rest solely with the employers we connect you with. Learners are expected to actively participate in the process — by attending sessions, completing assignments, applying to roles, and appearing for interviews — in order for placement support to be effective.

Refund Terms

Fees are non-refundable after you have accessed more than 10% of course content or attended any live session, whichever occurs first. Programme-specific refund policies stated on the programme page or in your offer letter take precedence where they offer more favourable terms.

Approved refunds trigger payment-partner instructions within 10 business days from the date of approval; the actual time taken for the amount to reflect in your account depends on your bank and payment method. Content Ownership

Meritshot and its licensors own all rights in the Platform, the Programmes, Meritshot Content, and Meritshot trademarks. When you enrol in a programme, you receive a personal, limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access that programme for your own non-commercial learning, while you are enrolled and compliant with these Terms.

  • You retain ownership of content you submit — including assignments, projects, portfolios, and forum posts.
  • By submitting content, you grant Meritshot a worldwide, royalty-free, sublicensable licence to host, use, reproduce, adapt, and display your User Content to operate and improve the Platform and our programmes.
  • With your consent (which you may withdraw at any time), Meritshot may also use testimonials and project showcases for marketing purposes.
  • You may not copy, distribute, sell, sublicense, publicly display, or create derivative works from Meritshot Content, and you may not remove proprietary notices or attempt to access source code.

Data Handling

  • Personal data may be shared with educational and hiring partners as needed for program delivery and placement.
  • Meritshot complies with Indian data protection laws.
  • We adhere to the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

Dispute Resolution

  • These Terms are governed by the laws of India.
  • In the event of a dispute, both parties will first attempt to resolve the issue in good faith within 30 days of the dispute being raised in writing.
  • Any disputes that remain unresolved after that period shall be referred to arbitration before a sole arbitrator appointed under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996.
  • The seat and venue of arbitration will be Delhi, India, and the language of arbitration will be English.
  • Nothing in this section restricts your statutory right to approach a competent Consumer Commission under applicable consumer-protection law.
